Service Description

Fort Collins (FoCo) CPR is a Certified Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross. Upon successful completion participants are awarded a 2-year certification at $45/year. First aid training is highly recommended for both healthcare providers and non-medical professionals. We ensure all participants are trained to the highest level in health care and in accordance with the most current medical and safety standards. This course is completed in two parts: 1) Online Student Workbook (1 Hour): Pre-work provides a foundation to in-person course training at your own pace and in the luxury of your own home. This is not a scheduled event. Once payment is processed you will gain access to the online material via email within 24-hours. 2) In-Person Skills (2 Hours): Further your understanding of First Aid concepts while practicing skills in-person, use a manikin with real-time feedback devices, and clarify questions under direct supervision of an experienced AHA/Red Cross Instructor and healthcare professional. Complete your final skills test. This is a scheduled event selected at the time of your booking. All online training material must be completed prior to your appointment. Topics Include: - Acting in an Emergency - Preventing Disease Transmission - Checking the Victim - Recovery Position - Bleeding and Wound Care - Shock - Burns - Bone, Joint, and Muscle Injuries - Sudden Illness - Poisoning and Allergic Reactions - EpiPen Training - Cold/Heat Emergencies - Rescuing and Moving Victims - Choking/Abdominal Thrusts - Animal Wounds, Bites, and Stings - And more!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations need to be received with a full 24-hours notice or participant(s) are subject to a $35 fee. If a minimum of 24-hour notice is received a refund of 50% is awarded. Full refunds are reviewed and processed on a case by case basis. In addition, please text us at (970) 402-9062 if you are running late. Thank you.
